3DSD is a sustainable building start-up company that combines 3D printing, superior construction materials & waste-stream remediation. We invented & built a large-scale 3D printer for the onsite, mass-production of sustainable, dome housing & infrastructure using our own formulations of high & ultra-high performance concretes. Our concretes can contain up to 60% waste material so we are partnering with industrial scale waste producers to convert waste-streams into high-performance building materials at their source. We have recently incorporated as a Washington State Social Purpose Corporation, are working to finalize our first few contracts for building developments & signed our first licensing agreement with a development company to use our patented machines to build low-income housing for indigenous tribes in Canada. Our buildings are designed to withstand natural disasters of every kind, including wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes & earthquakes making them homes that can be passed down from generation to generation. With the current climate changes, instances of natural disasters are becoming evermore prevalent & pose a real danger to flammable, mold vulnerable, stick-built housing. Our vision is to build & facilitate the building of village-scale developments that incorporate sustainable housing & holistic, life-support infrastructure on a mass-scale & at a price point that can enable the vast global housing shortage to be addressed. With the United Nations Habitat estimate of a global need for 3 billion new homes in the next ten years, there is a lot of work to be done here & a market size that's astounding. We are currently working to secure contracts with governments, First Nations, development companies, disaster relief organizations & industrial facilities who need large quantities of highly efficient, extremely durable housing or containment structures; or who have large-scale waste-streams that they would like to address in a sustainable manner.
