Adept is an armor systems engineering firm with a focus on body armor and infantry equipment. We take the most highly advanced materials from doped boron carbide composite ceramics to exotic titanium alloys, the best grades of UHMWPE, and the rarest and most resilient foams and adhesives and turn them into armor systems such as body armor plates which are, without exception, the best in their categories. We are unique in at least two respects: First, because we adhere to a parametricist product development and R&D philosophy, which necessarily means that we approach development in a completely holistic manner from the smallest components to concerns of ergonomics and armor integration into systems. Second, because we have an almost religious veneration for the materials we work with especially steel.
