Originally founded in 1970 to design and manufacture professional recording studio equipment, the company later focused on high-end "audiophile" stereo components. Our innovative technology was used by MCI to create the world's most successful recording studio consoles and tape recording systems. During the 1970's and 80's over 500 Gold and Platinum albums from such artists as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, Duke Ellington, Keith Jarrett, Dave Brubeck, B.B. King, The Bee Gees and many more were recorded on professional audio equipment designed by AEA AEA also produced several highly acclaimed high-end consumer audio products incorporating new technologies that would later become "industry standards." The company has recently been reactivated by its original founder to continue building on its legacy of innovation in audio systems design.
