Insulating rocket stoves and candle water filters can be produced and implemented almost anywhere, starting with capacity building of potters. Low-income potters tend to be ubiquitous in Less Developed Countries - LDCs. The potters produce water containers and cook pots that are affordable to their neighbors while plastic buckets and metal cook pots are not. Once trained in techniques of quick production of duplicates the potters will be able to fabricate insulating rocket stoves and form candle water filters. These products should then be affordable to their neighbors. The potters will have new skills that are at the origin of industry. Along with environmentally responsible furnaces and kilns, the potters new skills will make possible innumerable products. Numerous livelihoods will be created for resilience of low-income communities. The LDCs will gain self-sufficiency. The human and natural resources of industrial development tend to be everywhere. What is primarily needed is capacity building.
