AK Woodcraft Co. was born out of a passion for wood. Plain and simple. We specialize in creating rustic home decor and handcrafted goods. Each project is thoughtfully designed and handmade out of our workshop in Eagle River, Alaska. Out of respect for the environment and limiting waste, all of our wood and materials are reclaimed and repurposed. We locally source and hand select all of our reclaimed wood, which may come from old pallets, fence posts, building scrap, or past projects... wood that would otherwise be thrown away. But time and the elements have a beautiful effect on wood, highlighting grains, textures and colors that bring out a warm and cozy feel, making it a perfect element for your home. It also means that each finished product is a one-of-a-kind piece, rich with history and character.
