In 1946, a small shoyu (soy sauce) manufacturing plant was established in Kalihi, Hawaii by five local Japanese families amidst post World War II. Over the years our line has grown from only soy sauces, to include a variety of sauces, marinades, and vinegars to meet the changing and expanding needs of the consumer.
