American PERMALIGHT is a leading manufacturer of building-code compliant photoluminescent safety products since 1988. In 1994, following the first terrorist bomb attack in the World Trade Center NYC basement parking garage, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey installed PERMALIGHT photoluminescent markings on the steps, landings, and handrail bars of their emergency staircases.
