Associated Logging Contractors of Idaho, established in 1966, is an organization formed by loggers, wood products, and heavy equipment haulers to develop cost-reducing programs and innovative solutions for industry challenges. They work collaboratively with affiliate companies to offer services such as logging safety consulting, workman's compensation insurance, first aid and safety equipment sales, Idaho Pro-Logger accreditation, public affairs, governmental affairs, legislative advocacy, and insurance services. ALC of Idaho represents independent logging and wood hauling companies, conducts governmental affairs work year-round, and collaborates with the American Loggers Council to address issues impacting logging contractors nationwide.
