ASTRO America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on advancing Defense manufacturing technology and policy through a distinctive public-private partnership approach. They conduct intensive analysis, planning, and team development to execute innovative projects with key government and industrial base collaborators. ASTRO America convenes key segments of the Defense industrial base to advance qualification of key manufacturing technologies and support U.S. Government agencies in transitioning applied research to matured Defense-related production. Their projects include AM Forward, ASTRO Army OTA, Guam Accelerator, and the Hypersonic Production Accelerator Facility, which combine advanced production capabilities to enable a secure supply chain for Hypersonics production.
