Blue Ridge Thermoforming
Blue Ridge Thermoforming is a thin gauge and heavy gauge vacuum former located in Greenville, SC. We are a manufacturer of custom designed vacuum formed packaging and equipment covers. Because we are a custom manufacturer, we focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations through high quality products, on time deliveries, excellent customer service and continuous improvement. We have nearly 25,000 square feet of production space and an additional 15,000 square feet of offsite warehouse space within two miles of the plant providing us the ability to provide JIT shipping, safety stock storage, and mold storage. Blue Ridge has 25 well trained employees that currently operate on two shifts with the ability to run three full shifts if needed. Some of our employees have been with the company for 10+ years, proving that we are a great company to work for. We operate on a mentality of continuous improvement and provide on-the-job training for all new employees and new products. The heavy gauge equipment consists of three rotary thermoformers with the ability to run parts as large as 60x100 and as small as 12x16.Material thickness can range from .03 to .5. Although the equipment is capable of running many types of plastics, we commonly run HDPE, HMWPE, ABS, HIPS, PET/PETG, Polycarbonate, and PVC There are three thin gauge forming lines with inline cutting capability on all of the machines. The maximum size part that the equipment can run is a 30x36 tray. Material thickness can range from .015 to .06. Materials commonly run on our thin gauge lines are HIPS, PET/PETG, PVC, HDPE, HMWPE, LDPE, Poly Carbonate, and ABS. Blue Ridge has an environment controlled room that the thin gauge inline cutters feed directly into, this room acts as the clear room for inspecting and packaging sensitive parts. We are currently compliant to the FDA CFR 21 Section 820 quality management system and we are working to become ISO13485 compliant.
