Bonfire by Design (formally Cutting-Edge Steelworks) was built from the ground up by Shawn Oudsema in 2011. He built his own CNC machine, capable of cutting sheets of over 4' x 8' and up to 1/2 inch thick. Since then he has been able to grow and build the business into what it is today. Today we specialize is outdoor fire pits and fire ring accessories creating an outdoor oasis unique to your yard at an affordable price. As a full-time fabricator in a local shop, Shawn decided to take his skills further by opening his own small job shop. "No job is too big or too small for us to take on.
