I started Cloud 9 Griptape, a skateboard grip tape brand, out of my parents' house in August of 2012. Being a skateboarder for over 18 years, I noticed two reoccurring problems skaters (myself too) had with grip tape... 1. Most grips were either too grippy or not grippy enough. So Cloud 9 Grip just the right amount of grip. Our medium grit gives you the ideal amount of grip, every time. 2. Most graphic grips are too hardcore, not grippy, and give off the wrong vibe for skaters.
