The Comfy Cup was invented by 8-year old, Kyler Russell, as a solution to the uncomfortable hard athletic cup that he was required to wear as part of his baseball uniform. THE PROBLEM: Kylers coach required all players on his team to wear a protective athletic cup to all games and practices. The athletic cups available were all hard, bulky and uncomfortable, which interfered with Kylers ability to concentrate on the game. THE SOLUTION: A more comfortable, light weight, flexible, and appropriate fitting athletic cup designed specifically for young athletes. Kyler and his mom put their heads together and created The Comfy Cup. What started out as a hand-sewn product created in the Russell Familys dining room has evolved into the field-tested, kid-approved Comfy Cup available to youth athletes around the world. The Russell family is blessed to live a life where they get to leverage their own life experience, love for sports, and unique creative talents to materialize a product that meets a need for boy athletes.
