Communications and Electrical Supplies, Inc. (CESI), fka Fiber Optic Tools & Supplies, owned by Christine Killen-Dwyer, began in the industry in the early 80's by taking a fiber optic splicing course. Christine became one of the first full-time female fiber optic splicing and testing techs in the country! She has owned and operated a splicing contracting company since 1986, and started a material supply company in 1991. Given Christine's excellent working knowledge of products to be sold and skills needed for operating a successful business, one would not question why she is certified as a Woman's Business Enterprise (just one of many organizations she is certified or qualified for, as well as being listed in Dunn and Bradstreet, and involved internationally. CESI has the capabilities to meet and exceed any current standards for fiber optics systems, copper, electrical and coax. CESI manufactures many items, such as: distribution boxes, two-way cable strippers, bare fiber adapters splice trays, and designs for fiber to home, pon as well as many others. Custom designs are also done for customers to improve integrity and efficiency of operations. Customized Kits are a specialty of the company, providing efficiency and limiting waste.
