Contemporary Beads & Castings, Inc. originated in 1990 as a wholesale source for bead distributors, jewelry designers and bead and craft stores. The company specializes in lead safe base metal cast items. The range of base metal components includes pewter beads, clasps, spacers, charms, pendants, bookmarks and other components that are sold to jewelry designers, craft stores and a number of other industries. These items are offered in a variety of plated finishes including gold, silver, brass, copper, gunmetal, etc. The metal used in the production process is top grade, being lead safe and containing no cadmium. In addition, the company is a direct importer of glass beads, rubber beads and more. In 1994 the company established its own factory, Creative Castings located in Providence RI. It manufactures exclusively for Contemporary Beads & Castings. The factory is a full service company, specialized in doing custom work related to several industries. These include jewelry, promotional items, company logos, etc. Our showroom is located in Port Chester, 30 miles north of Manhattan.
