At its signal temperature, a Cryoguard indicator irreversibly changes color from green to red within one to two hours. At 10C above its signal temperature the indicator changes color within minutes. At 25C below its signal temperature the indicator remains green. Cryoguard indicators are available with signal temperatures preset at -40C, 70C, 100C, -120C, -135C and -150C.
