EVDrive (tm) develops electric drive system componets for full performance with goal to meet or exceed the performance of the equivalent fuel powered ICE driven vehicles. Custom BLDC/PMAC and IPM motor technology combined with state of the art Lithium ion energy storage. Range EXtender development which allows continious highway travel on fuel, used only when driving beyond 100 mile electric range. The total range with electric and REX is 265 miles before stopping to refill with fuel. Drive system configured for 100 mile range using the latest generation cell technology results in extreme reduction of cell impedance reducing internal heating to a neglegible level. When there is very little loss or heat generated at sustained full power drive levels, the cell cycle life increases to beyond a decade of continious use. When used at "normal" demand levels, such as freeway travel or city driving, the losses become insignificant. Promoting the Concept of Net Zero at Full Performance driving with home roof mounted solar array that results in Net Zero power for driving an electric sports car on annual basis. 5.5kW grid tied array energy = 40 mile daily commute, 5 days/ week, over 1 year period.
