Flexible Microwave Switching Solutions was created out of frustration with large Switching companies attempting to force customers into a one-size-fits-all solution. Large companies looking to reduce their non-recurring engineering costs, attempt to design a single one-size-fits-all box and then encourage customers to work with these cookie-cutter designs. At Flex we understand that customers need and want the front panels arranged to suit either their specific requirements, or to minimize cable lengths to maximize performance. It is simply not possible to fit every application into a few standard front panel relay arrangements. We have spent significant time studying the manufacturing and engineering process, and have optimized the design and manufacturing process to a point that custom solutions can be delivered with little to no NRE. Standard computer control interfaces are GPIB or LAN, and relays are controlled using simple standard SCPI commands. We believe that Flex can provide an extremely price competitive product, fully customised, significantly faster than our competition simply because of our streamlined manufacturing and documentation process.
