Great Plains Industries got its start in 1968 when the first small office was opened in Wichita. The 700 sq. ft. building accommodated founder Charlie Peer and his co-founders Ken Rix and Lyle Koontz. Through innovation of fuel transfer product solutions, the company has grown to a 178,000 sq. ft. facility located in northeast Wichita.
