While weve been building and designing skis since 2006, the company was officially established in 2010. Skiing has taken to the street exposing equipment to concrete, stone, steel and other very hard surfaces. The team at HG Skis has first hand experience in this area. Weve tested and destroyed more skis than you can imagine. Weve learned a lot over the last few years, and weve packed all of it into our skis and other products. Why HG Skis and not another brand? In one word, quality. HG Skis was founded by two skiers who are engineers and share a common issue with the durability of skis. Year after year we bought other brands Terrain Park skis. Weve all watch their company pros tearing up hand rails and other terrain park features in videos and advertisements. We all use the ski for what they were advertised for, and come to find that the warranty is voided if there is any sign of impact damage. This just doesnt sound fair, nor does it help skiing or its participants.
