IER Simulations originated as an online community project with the intention of replicating the IMSA United SportsCar Championship within the Assetto Corsa racing simulator. Comprised of a small core team comprised of 3-D/graphics artists and engineers, IER quickly gained a reputation for producing meticulously accurate vehicle models, pushing the bounds of pre-established standards. This reputation caught the eye of the racing world, leading to collaboration with racing teams and, ultimately, our incorporation. We have since worked with dozens of automotive racing teams and manufacturers to produce simulated vehicle dynamics models for use in marketing, driver training, and engineering development, and continue to break boundaries in the world of simulation. We have produced simulation models for championship and race-winning teams in the following categories: IMSA ST, GT3, LMPC, LMP3, LMP2, and LMP1.
