IoTissimo
We are focused on developing technology for the 21st century - from silicon to systems. No over-hyped AI, just real world applications that propel the Industry forward in "More than Moore" integration, Power Management and Wireless applications. A History of Innovation: Three decades of continuous innovation across multiple technologies and product spaces: First fully integrated motor drivers for HDD (Spindle, Stepper and Voice Coil Motors). The technology and architectures I developed in the early 90s are still at the basis of what is in production today: o First sensor-less spindle motor controller o First fully integrated Combo o First digital controller First fully integrated analog Read/Write Channel for HDD First SoC implementation integrating DRAM (Data and System Controller for HDD). The project started with the 0.35um CMOS lithography node! First high-performance Digital Audio Power Amplifiers (first truly Hi-Fi Digital Power). I led the re-engineering of the product to make it manufacturable and cost-effective. First high-performance fixed-frequency hysteretic Buck converter (3-6 MHz operation for leading mobile products). Also, state-of-the-art Boost and low-power LDO for mobile First Integrated DC-DC converter with inductor First integrated multi-phase near time-optimal buck converter (for mobile products) First commercial implementation of Resonant Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) at 6.78 MHz (received the Best of CES Innovation Award in 2015) and creation of the standard for WPT. First WPT battery charger requiring no DC-DC conversion First high-performance variable capacitor technology integrated in silicon processes for tuning RF and mmWave circuits. ...and now continuing to set the trend with developments in: Power management integration for high performance computing Advanced Wireless Power Transfer technologies Other underlying technologies for IoT
