Founded by Dave Lark, Lark Machining has been providing machining services to local customers for 30 years. He graduated from the Gunsmith Program at Trinidad State Community College and studied machining technology at Pikes Peak Community College. Dave worked as an instructor at Trinidad State Gunsmithing Program for 3 years before moving on to instruct Machine Tech at Pikes Peak Community College for 3 years. While teaching at Pikes Peak Community College, he worked with the US Olympic Small Bore Shooting Team, and designed the prototype for the first laser mount. He moved back to Michigan in the early 90s and worked in the tool and die trade for 4 years, then started Lark Custom Works & Machining, building knives and classic style rifles. He tutored under Chris DeCamillis engraving for several years before partnering with Dave Skrzypczak to start the company SDL Precision. Together they designed and built the RinGenie tool and assortment of tools/accessories for the jewelry industry. Today, Lark Machining is a family run business with Dave's son, Tim, assisting with the business operations. Tim Lark works full-time as a power lineman for a local utility. He has a Bachelor's degree in project management and has a passion for entrepreneurship and Quality Management practices. We use our passion to manufacture your solution and we want you to enjoy our services as much as we enjoy offering them to you.
