LumaClean, LLC
LumaClean is focused on addressing "Pain-Points" with medical practitioners and seeks to collaborate to resolve these pain points. We currently have over 6 new devices in development with a focus on the NICU and Home-care markets. Please contact us with new ideas. Coming soon! StomaEase and StomaDisc: Currently, no treatments address the root cause of skin breakdown around feeding tube sites. Leakage causes significant pain and discomfort to patients. StomaEase non-toxic powder, designed by a chemist with a feeding tube, draws leakage away from the skin while StomaDisc keeps the powder where it belongs. The powder can be gently wiped away, and StomaDisc can be cleaned and re-used. StomaEase and StomaDisc can also reduce the risk of leakage staining clothing or bedsheets. EnClean Brush: Due to the complex design of the ENFit Connector, cleaning and removal of nutritional formula in feeding tubes may be more difficult and risk of contamination could increase. Conventional cleaning methods (cottons balls, cotton swabs, wipes, toothbrushes) cannot make contact with the difficult internal ENFit geometries. Of particular concern is the accumulation of biofilm producing organisms on the underside surfaces of the internal screw threads. Visual inspection won't be able to detect this hidden potential source of contamination. The Patented EnClean Brushes are designed to fit between, over and under the threads and clean all the way to the bottom of the EnFit Connector with germ-resistant bristles. It removes debris and thoroughly cleans the internal threads of the EnFit Connector. The reusable version is designed to last for a minimum of 30 days, when cleaned according to IFU, and is intended for maximum cleaning and time efficiency in inpatient and home settings. It features a self centering catheter lumen occluder to keep clean solution and debris from entering into the catheter. This version can also be customized with your company logo.
