LWRC International, LLC was founded to pursue the development of a short-stroke gas-piston operated version of the AR15/M16/M4 family of weapons. Our research and development activities have focused on eliminating the inherent shortcomings in the direct impingement operating system. These efforts have resulted in our family of M6 short-stroke, gas-piston operated rifles and carbines, which improve on the direct impingement system by operating cleaner, quieter, and with greater accuracy - and they do so with greater reliability and longer service life. LWRCI is headquartered in Cambridge, Maryland, utilizing three facilities totaling over 250,000 square feet. Our manufacturing capability includes over fifty state-of-the-art CNC machine centers, laser cutting machines, screw machines, robotic welding, and mil-spec painting. LWRCI is registered with Lloyd's Quality Registrar for ISO-9001 International Standards compliance for Configuration Management.
