It utilizes forming rules and design logics to create alternative ways of forming a part. The programs can perform a feature based search to find similar parts and their designs in the part database. NAGSIM (2D/3D/Bi-Metal) - NAGSIM.2D / NAGSIM.3D are FEA forging simulation programs for simulating cold and hot forging processes. These programs can simulate and predict metal flow, formation of defects such as laps, non-fill and predict stresses in tools and the part. Forging sequence determined through NAGFORM or your own designs can be tested and validated before building the tooling using these FEA simulation programs.
