Mindstream Computing, Inc. was founded in 1998 and Incorporated in 2000 by Robert Blau and Roy C. Hopgood. Mindstream is to be a leader in the development and marketing of high performance IO, and IP development solutions. Many current system level architectures from storage to servers to real-time embedded processing share the same requirements of low cost, low latency, high bandwidth, and high reliability. Solutions architected around PCI(x) and RapidIO technology, provided by Mindstream, will achieve these attributes. Additionally, use of these solutions can result in faster time to market and lower development costs for the client. Realizing potential of RapidIO as a standard early on, Mindstream became an initial member of the RapidIO Trade Association. We have helped contribute to the evolving RapidIO standard by using our extensive experience with high performance switched fabrics and systems. Mindstream ceased operations in 2004/
