The National Armaments Consortium (NAC) is a collaborative organization that works closely with the Department of Defense Ordnance Technology Consortium (DOTC) to develop armament technologies in support of the nation's security. NAC brings together leading technologists, engineers, designers, scientists, manufacturers, and program managers from industry, academia, and national laboratories to develop armaments that provide the United States with a technological edge over adversaries. The consortium fosters collaboration between government, industry, and academia to deliver dominant solutions to complex national armament challenges. NAC has over 1000 industry and academia members and offers benefits such as partnering in armaments technology development, working with government program sponsors, and competing for funding under Section 815 for Prototypes Other Transactions Agreement.
