Our Last Straw is a coalition of restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, and event venues working to eliminate single-use plastic straws. Led by Dan Simons and the Farmers Restaurant Group, the organization encourages individuals to pledge to #StopSucking, educates communities on the environmental and health hazards of single-use plastics, and collaborates with NGOs and government leaders to introduce legislation to ban plastic straws. They advocate for the use of biodegradable paper straws, reusable straws, or no straw at all, while ensuring accommodations for individuals with disabilities who require plastic straws.
