Paul Sylvester is the Pevehouse Chair Professor and Principle Investigator at the TTU MILL Mineral Isotope Laser Laboratory. The laboratory specializes in isotopic analysis of minerals for geochronology and source tracing using small ablation spots. They utilize advanced instrumentation including Nu Plasma II MC-ICP-MS, Nu AttoM magnetic sector ICP-MS, and ESI NWR193 laser ablation system for in-situ Lu-Hf isotope analyses and U-Pb geochronology.
