Plastic Coatings is a manufacturer of premier water proofing and protective coatings. Our earliest clients were chemical companies and mechanical insulator companies that did work for companies like, Union Carbide, Dupont, FMC and Dow Chemical. With time our clients list came to include Spray Polyurethane Foam Contractors. These contractors use our protective latex coatings on tanks, process lines and roofing. Our roofing uses came to include repairing metal roofs, refitting rubber, asphalt and modified bitumen roofs. Spray technology continues to make this a very cost efficient means of extending the life span of more costly roof systems. In 1991 we developed a coating Jaxsan 602, which was approved by the USDA for incidental contact with food. This break through led us into the cost effective resurfacing of interior walls, ceilings, cooler and processes in food plants. At about the same time (1990) a part time summer employee for an amusement park repaired a Tunnel of Love exterior with Jaxsan 600 and we got into the Theatre Business. This summer employer taught theater and set design at the University of Cincinnati and he thought Jaxsan 600 would be great for theatre props and set designs. Currently over 400 theatre companies, movie and set design firms use our coatings for their productions.
