Professional Engineering Co., Inc.
Demolition Tools Engineered for Safety and Efficiency In February 1989 a worker cutting down a suspended ceiling while on staging, caught his neck on communication cables hanging down from the ceiling grid and was almost dragged off of the staging while it was being moved by the other worker. Phillip Guerin founder of Professional Engineering Co., Inc.(PECI) saw this and developed the prototype for the Wire Wolf which became the first patented demolition tool engineered to safely cut down suspended ceilings from the floor eliminating the need for ladders and staging and greatly reducing the risk of injury. In 1999, Armstrong Ceilings introduced the industrys first ceiling recycling program. Armstrongs program requires that ceiling tiles are palletized however in most cases, tiles that are removed break into pieces making that nearly impossible. PECI created TileREX, a tool was designed to solve this problem! TileREX can not only remove the ceiling tiles from the suspension grid whole without breaking them, making palletizing easy but it can also be used from the floor increasing productivity and keeping your workers safe. Our Newest product, The Sabertooth Bolt and Wire Cutter cuts Jack Rod or 1/4 threaded rod used for suspended ceilings, sprinkler pipes, HVAC, cable trays and plumbing, safely up to 7 feet away from the edge of the ceiling opening without climbing on top of it, allowing plaster to simply be pushed down to the floor. Work smarter, not harder with Professional Engineering Co, Inc tools! PECI manufactures a line of the highest quality state-of- the-art demolition tools with worker safety and efficiency as our guide.
