The mission of the Rotary Club of Aiken is to impact our community by providing forums for fellowship, understanding and service among engaged leaders. We are proud to be a part of Rotary International. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 35,000 Rotary clubs located in 166 countries. Rotarians deploy their time, their talents and their donations to Do Good In The World by placing Service Above Self. Rotary is about Neighbors, Friends, Problem-Solvers sharing ideas, and taking action to create lasting change. Each day, Rotarians pour our passion, integrity, and intelligence into completing projects that have a lasting impact. We persevere until we deliver real, lasting solutions. The Aiken Rotary Club was founded in 1939 with 16 charter members. Today the Aiken Rotary Club is the second largest Rotary club in South Carolina boasting more than 180 members representing a broad cross section of occupations including representatives from non-profits, service industry, manufacturing, educational institutions and government.
