Treegator production began in the basement of the Cissel family home after development and patenting by W. Lambert Cissel Jr of Woodbine MD. In 1991, Spectrum Products Inc. was founded by Scott Cissel, and production was moved to Raleigh, NC. In 2004 Spectrum Products, Inc. then moved to our current facilities located in Youngsville, NC. Today, Spectrum Products Inc. manufactures and distributes Treegator and Treegator Jr. Pro slow release watering bags to commercial landscape suppliers and residential wholesale merchandisers throughout the United States and several foreign countries.
