The Hope & Healing Store is an important part of the Employment Readiness Program at Terebinth Refuge. Terebinth Refuge is a non-profit based in St Cloud, Minnesota USA that is on a mission to empower women survivors of sex trafficking & exploitation. Our organization has a variety of functions that exist collaboratively to break cycles of exploitation and usher in a cycle of empowerment. Terebinth Refuge is a safe home and transition home for adult women who have chosen to leave behind some dark and difficult places. As they enter into refuge we walk with them in hope and healing, caring for them, empowering them, encouraging them, and providing opportunities to grow & learn employment skills that will enable them to earn a living wage as well as provide for their small children. The programing Terebinth Refuge provides, encourages women to walk through each phase with a sense of accomplishment in their own personal journey to healing. Through Terebinth Refuge, we provide trauma-informed therapy, educational support, healing body, soul, mind, and spirit, while providing each woman a safe, supportive, and healthy environment. The Hope & Healing Store serves as one of the prevention strategies of Terebinth Refuge because when women are able to earn a living wage in a safe environment the risk for exploitation is greatly reduced.
