MakerMask is a volunteer-based organization that provides information and research about mask materials and designs to assist global communities of sewists, makers, and manufacturers during the COVID-19 crisis. They focus on researching, testing, and sharing information about mask materials and designs for stop-gap solutions in compliance with FDA Emergency Use Authorizations. MakerMask aims to support local efforts by offering guidance on mask fabrics, nonwoven polypropylene, mask designs, and DIY testing of mask fabrics and layers.
