I BIKE KNX is the Bicycle Program that guides the implementation of the 2009 Regional Bicycle Plan in Anderson, Blount, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Sevier, and a portion of Cocke counties. It is housed within the Knoxville Regional Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) and staffed by one full-time employee, with support from the Knoxville-Knox County Planning for website, graphics, and communications assistance. The core services offered include organizing Bike Month events, Bike To Work Day, Neighborhood Bike Rides, Bicycle Classes, Bicycle And Pedestrian Traffic Counts, Bike Lockers, and providing resources such as Bicycle Plans, Commuting information, Maps, and Routes.
