In 2016, the Flint crisis called her attention to the horrific impact of lead contamination on the city's residents. Quickly, she learned that water quality issues are affecting communities across the U.S. - urban, suburban, and rural and of all socioeconomic classes. With a lifelong passion for public health and social justice, Erica began a journey that led her to envision Water Can't Wait - a consumer-empowered, impact-driven company dedicated to attacking the drinking water crisis.
