Workers First is an early-stage startup that is leveraging recent advancements in polymer science to develop advanced materials that neutralize acids on contact for use in personal protective equipment (PPE) and acid-proof coatings. As our name suggests, our company was formed to realize the vision of protecting people while they do the important work of serving as first responders, mining ore, advancing science, and serving in the military. These individuals build our economies and defend our communities, and they deserve effective PPE while on the job. It is important to protect this equipment especially in situations where harsh chemicals are used and could harm workers.
